| This projectile was invented by Lynall Thomas of Great Brittan. It is an unusual projectile, it also has a lead band in the base. There was apparently some interior channel arrangement to allow the gas to flow up into the body and expand the two lead bearing bands. There are at least four of these projectiles known and all have been recovered from Fort Fisher and Fort Caswell, North Carolina. | ||||
