The above pictured projectile was found at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. When emptied, the case-shot material was found to consist of lead castings and bullets. It has a thick copper ring sabot and a lathe dimple in the base. It is similar in appearance to the Federal 20-pounder Parrott projectile pictured here.
