3-inch Selma Shell
This specimen is similar in appearance to the Read pattern in this example.  The copper sabot is continuous across the bottom of the recessed base.  The bourrelets are narrower and the lubrication groove is much smaller than normally seen.  This projectile was manufactured by the Selma Arsenal in Alabama.
