This projectile has two bourrelets, or bearing surfaces, with the upper bourrelet having a greater width than the lower. This bottom bourrelet has been machined down to the diameter of the projectile body. The base is slightly rounded with a lathe dimple, and the sabot is made of thin wrought iron.
