Tennessee Sabot, sub-pattern I
Very few rifled
18-pounders were in use. This specimen is on the conventional
Tennessee Sabot system with
the disc secured by a bolt and three iron pins. According to Dickey's numbering
system, "32" items were recovered from Rose Dhu Island, Georgia.
