This unfired Archer variant has a small flat nose. It is less common than the
pointed-nose variety. The tapered cone has two grooves that helped hold the lead band on
during firing. This particular variety, of the Archer series, has been recovered from
several Virginia battlefields, including Fairfax, Virginia.
