The Bormann-fuzed
Archer did not have enough burn time for the range of rifled artillery due to its 5
1/2-second time fuze and therefore was manufactured in extremely limited
numbers. It has four vertically placed flanges and a groove to help hold on
the lead sabot, which is missing on this specimen.
